Documents Needed to Apply for a Mortgage
Be prepared to provide verification of income:
- 2 most recent pay stubs
- Federal tax returns for the last two years
- W-2s for the last two years
- Last two months' bank statements
Bank account numbers and details on your long-term debt:
- Credit cards
- Auto loans
- Child support
- Installment debts
If you're self-employed you may also be required to provide financial statements for your business.
